Lady Tigers Defeat Crosstown Rival Kuyper College
Grace Bible College won the rubber match of the three game series with crosstown rival Kuyper College 68 to 59. This gives the Tigers a 5 and 2 record in the Midwest regional games. The ladies travel to Moody Bible in Chicago on Saturday for their final regional game prior to the regional tournament.
Jessica Sikorski (Wyoming Park) lead all scorers with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Christina Grice (Grand Rapids Central) had 12 points and 12 rebounds and 2 assists. Stephanie Miller (Wyoming Rogers) had 11 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists and Angela Byrne (Erie First Christian Academy, PA) had 11 points 5 rebounds and a game high 9 assists. The ladies had just 9 turnovers in the game.
Coach Renzema said after the game that this was the best team effort of the season. This was also Coach Renzema's 100th win since becoming a Grace Bible College Tiger.
