Cory Jamieson Signs With Tigers

The Tigers landed one of their top recruits in 6'3" point guard, Cory Jamieson of Wayland High School. Jamieson comes to GBC and joins his brother, Sophomore Matt, to help lead the Tigers next year. "We recruited Cory very hard this year and we are so happy that he is coming to Grace" said Head Coach Gary Bailey. "Cory had many other schools talking to him but I think the prospect of playing with his brother may have helped us in his decision." Cory's accomplishments this year were quite impressive. He helped lead Wayland to a District title and he accumulated quite a few honors along the way including 1st Team All Conference, All County, 1st Team All Area, Grand Rapids Dream Team, and Honorable Mention All State.

Cory averaged 11.2 ppg and 6.7 assists this year. He will wear #2 for the Tigers next year. Cory is the son of Bill and Cindy Jamieson of Wayland.

Cameron is the son of Scott & Heidi Myers. He has two sisters, Sonja and Julia and a brother Taylor.
