Associate Degree Programs | Bachelor of Science
Bachelor of Music | Bachelor of Religious Education | Bachelor of Theology
Many students enrolling at Grace Bible College begin an Associate degree program. The requirements of this two-year program are similar to those often found at a community college or
Christian colleges and universities emphasizing the arts and sciences. This approach seems appropriate for at least three types of students:
1. An individual who would like to begin college, but has not settled on a course of study.
2. An individual whose career goals will be met by completing a two-year program of study. To provide for these individuals,
Grace offers the Associate of Arts degree in General Studies and Business Studies. GBC also offers an Associate of Religious
Education degree. This program differs from the Associate of Arts degree in that it requires more biblical and ministry studies
and fewer general education courses.
3. An individual who has determined a four-year course of study other than offered at Grace, yet wants to attend Bible college while pursuing the
foundational requirements of most academic programs. These individuals come to GBC with interest in careers such as communication and nursing, for
example. Interest in such academic areas implies working towards at least a bachelor degree. Regardless of which field the individual may choose,
the first two years will usually include a basic, foundational course of studies.
Individuals who expect to transfer following the completion of the Associate of Arts degree should familiarize themselves with the program and the requirements of the college to which they will transfer to complete their bachelor degree. Students must be sure to inform their Academic Advisor of their plans. The College faculty and staff are committed to assisting students in making as smooth a transfer as possible.
Individuals who plan to pursue a bachelor degree at GBC may also register in the Associate of Arts program as it can be a foundation for those programs.
